I’ve been thinking about Mary and Joseph. I can’t imagine how they were feeling. Their first child was being born any day now. To top it off the baby was Jesus, being sent to save the world! They were also traveling to Bethlehem. I’m sure they were afraid. Far away from home in a strange land. But they trusted God anyway. Isn’t that how we should live everyday? No matter where He sends or what He asks us to do, trust and go anyway.
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. Luke 2:4-5 (NIV)
