Over two thousand years ago after feeling all hope was gone. The disciples and followers woke to a day the earth had never seen. The day our Savior had risen from death and sin to a new world where we no longer have to pay for our sins. He paid the price for us. He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed! Happy Easter Everyone! Today I’ve been thinking about how the disciples and followers must have felt the day after they saw Jesus crucified. I know they believed He would come back but they were human and we as humans still have this thing called doubt. I’m sure they must have felt all their hope was gone. It was their darkest day. One thing they had to hold on to, was that Jesus always spoke truth and tomorrow was coming! Thanks for reading!
We spent today pulling up railroad ties from the pasture and using them to make a raised bed garden. We spent all day working but my mind kept going back to what today truly means. It’s the day my sweet Jesus suffered for me. I can’t even think about it without crying. He loved me so much that He hung on the cross for me. He hung there for you too. He paid the price so we can spend eternity with Him. He loved us enough to die for us. This is how love wins! Thanks for reading!
Have you ever noticed how much it lifts your spirit when you smile? How about when someone smiles at you? I try to smile at everyone, even the ones who don’t look happy. The best feeling is the one who has a frown, but lights up when you smile. You just never know, that might be the only bright spot in their day. Who’s with me? Let’s change the world one smile at a time! Thanks for Reading!
Normally when I eat lunch alone I get on my phone and pull up social sites and browse while I eat. Today I decided to just relax and enjoy the beautiful day. It’s amazing what you see when you just stop, unplug and look around. I saw beautiful fluffy clouds against an amazing blue sky, the green grass, the little tree buds. I heard the birds singing. I noticed the warm breeze. I thanked God for each thing I was enjoying. I felt so connected to Him. When lunch was done I came back to work refreshed and ready to finish my day. I definitely will be doing this more often. How about you? Do you ever take time to stop and unplug from the busy world around you? If not give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for Reading!
