God gives us blessings in disguise. We just have to trust the process. He can turn the worst things into the best things and He usually does.
The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. God will always help you. He will always fight for you and destroy your enemies. Take rest in His everlasting arms.
There is none like the God of Jerusalem. He descends from the heavens in majestic splendor to help you. The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrusts out your enemies before you; It is he who cries, ‘Destroy them!’ Deuteronomy 33:26-27 (TLB)
When we pray it sometimes seems the answer never comes. We tend to think God’s not listening. If you are praying about it, He is working on it. Answered prayers may not be the way we asked or wanted but He loves us more than we can understand. He answers in a way that is ultimately for our good.
I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them. Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe! Psalms 116:1-2 (TLB)
But he listened! He heard my prayer! He paid attention to it! Blessed be God, who didn’t turn away when I was praying and didn’t refuse me his kindness and love. Psalms 66:19-20 (TLB)
One of the greatest things about God is how He uses our sin, disappointment, heartache, pain, scars, hurts and turns them into our beautiful testimony. I know because I’m proof.
